Break Out the Champagne!
Alaska, Mexico, and Beyond, my new blog, is about to launch! Travel is such a great way to learn about the world because we learn from looking at, listening to, and interacting with the people and places we visit. David and I are now in Oaxaca, Mexico, where we will be spending the next five months. The purpose of the blog is to share with my friends the fascinating places and amazing new people we will meet along the way. Come along with us and begin envisioning your own next journey.

A volcano that is obviously awake!
Our bus just crossed this bridge,
high in the mountains south of Mexico City
on the way to Oaxaca.
Tomorrow we will begin exploring Oaxaca City!
