WINTER IN OAXACA
However, if you are yearning for those white flakes…
there are rooftop snowmen…
or this winter wall should be a gentle reminder!

That’s our Oaxaca!
Belated holiday greetings to you and your family, Marilyn! It’s so nice to see poinsettia plants outdoors. Are you spending part of the winter in Mexico?
Thanks for the greetings. Poinsettias grow wild here like very tall bushes, and their brilliant red peeking over fences in the villages is especially beautiful in this dusty dry season.
We are spending 6 months in the city of Oaxaca, where we spent last winter, and I suspect we’ll be here the next also! There is so much to do here, both in the city and the whole state of Oaxaca (one reason for my sparse number of blogs!).The people are warm and friendly, the food is fresh and delicious, the weather is great, and the location is good for traveling to other parts of Mexico that we have yet to explore. I don’t think there is enough time left in my life! I’m glad to see you taking the opportunity to live in various countries while you are young.
Very beautiful photos from Oaxaca. It was great pleasure to see them.
Thank you, Sartenada. I know it’s quite different from winter in your part of the world! I wish you a wonderful new year.
Very cool! That garden looks particularly peaceful and pretty. 🙂
