  4. I agree. Seward has wonderful ones…murals would look good all around the penin. center mall, Fred Myers, Safeway, any big wall will do!

  5. I love how there is just so much art in Oaxaca!

  6. Creativity surrounds us in Oaxaca, and it’s wonderful to see that it is encouraged from a very young age. I’ve seen little kids carving and painting alebrijes or rabanos (using knives that would barely be considered safe for adults in the US). They learn to play drums and bugles, to sing, to dance. It’s such a different attitude.
    Do you think you will be able to come back?
