Brisbane is definitely beautiful with a mix of old and new and lots of trees and plants. It’s also super clean. I think I’ve seen three pieces of trash on the street since my arrival!
Right you are! Unfortunately I have to get back to Alaska to prepare for our tourist rental cabin season, and I’m out of time. I guess I’ll just have to come back to this side of the world, as I would love to visit Indonesia – due to your most informative and interesting blog!
Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula has been home for more than 40 years. My husband, David, and I live on 10 acres of forest near the town of Soldotna. We are more or less retired, meaning we are retired from gainful employment but not from life!
Our son lives in Australia and our daughter in Colorado.
Photography, fiber arts, reading, and hiking/walking are some of my interests, and David shares my love of gardening, camping, cooking, and traveling, plus he is our tech expert.
Looks like a beautiful, modern city with lots of construction going on.

Marilyn, you’re in Australia? Indonesia is not that far away. 🙂

Terrific roadways for this week. 😀 Your galley was awesome.
Thanks, Cee. All the time I was walking that day I kept thinking, “There are Which Ways every which way! “
Wonderful post. I loved Your photos, because I had no idea about Brisbane. Thank You. Happy weekend.
Thanks, I’m glad you like the photos of Brisbane. It was a wonderful city to visit and I think to live!
